Professor Yves Barde recognised by Royal Society

Professor Yves Barde, from Cardiff University’s School of Biosciences, has been elected as Fellow of the Royal Society.  Professor Barde becomes the third Royal Society Fellow in the University’s School of Biosciences, joining Professor Alun Davies and Professor Ole Petersen, Academic Director of the Cardiff Hub and Vice-President of Academia Europaea.

Professor Barde is a member of the Cardiff Hub Steering Group.

Professor Colin Riordan, Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff University made the following statement:

“Professor Barde’s appointment to Royal Society Fellow is testament to his outstanding contribution to the fields of neuroscience and stem cell research – areas that tackle some of the biggest health challenges of our time.”
