Professor Petersen in the ‘Meeting on the future UK and EU research partnership’ organised by the Royal Society
The Royal Society and The Wellcome Trust organised a “Meeting on the future UK and EU research partnership” on 29-30 January 2018 at Chicheley Hall, led by the President of the Royal Society, Sir Venki Ramakrishnan and the Chair of the Wellcome Trust, Baroness Manningham-Buller.
Academia Europaea played an important role in the meeting. Eight members of the academy were invited participants: Professor Enric Banda, Professor Dame Anne Glover FRS, Professor Andy Hoper FRS (Vice-President of the Royal Society), Professor Ole Didrik Laerum, Professor Ole Petersen CBE FRS (Director of the AE Cardiff Hub and Vice-President of AE), Sir John Skehel FRS (Vice-President of the Royal Society), Professor Gunter Stock (President of ALLEA) and Professor Dame Helen Wallace FBA.
