Cardiff’s Graham Hutchings MAE an author of the newly-published report on Carbon Capture and Utilisation
Professor Graham Hutchings of Cardiff University and Member of Academia Europaea (MAE), is one of the authors of the newly-published evidence review report, Novel carbon capture and utilisation technologies: research and climate aspects. Professor Hutchings was selected as one of the working group members that produced the report for the European Commission.
The SAPEA consortium of European academies was asked to produce the evidence review report to inform the policy-based scientific opinion of the European Commission’s Group of Chief Scientific Advisors, in response to a request from Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete. The report identified a need for innovation in policy domains, and from systemic and technology perspectives.
