We are pleased to welcome our new Communications Officer, Alice Sadler, to the team. Alice joins the AE Cardiff Hub from Cardiff University’s School of Computer Science and Informatics.
Experience
Alice has worked in the UK Higher Education sector for nearly 10 years, with a focus on academic and research support, communications, and international collaborations. Previously she worked as a Partnership Manager in Cardiff Metropolitan University, travelling throughout East Asia, Africa and Europe to manage collaborative provision partnerships.
Alice has a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking and Media Arts from University of London, and she has worked extensively with external companies to deliver videography projects across a range of subjects.
Responsibilities
Alice’s main role will be working on the CALIPER project, delivering promotional videos to raise awareness and generate debate about the gender inequality issues in STEM fields. Within the hub team she’ll be supporting events and contributing to communications activities.
