The Physiological Society held its ‘Celebrating Physiology’ Roadshow at Cardiff University on 29th September, where Hub Director Ole Petersen unveiled a plaque to neurophysiologist T. Graham Brown (1882-1965) and gave the keynote lecture.

The Physiological Society held its latest Roadshow at Cardiff University’s School of Biosciences on Thursday 29th September, marking the life and work of T. Graham Brown and his contributions to the discipline of physiology.
A plaque was erected in his honour, the 14th that has been placed on universities across the UK to honour outstanding physiologists who have contributed to the advancement of the discipline through their discoveries while leaving a legacy beyond their lifetime. The plaque was unveiled by Hub Director Professor Ole Petersen CBE MAE FRS, who also gave the keynote lecture.
There were also talks from the President of The Physiological Society, Professor David Paterson MAE, as well as Chief Executive, Dariel Burdass, about how to get involved with the Society and how the Society can support career progression.
The Roadshow provided a great opportunity to network, discuss and celebrate the important role of physiology and physiologists.
